Button, Royal Naval uniform: pattern 1901
Twenty buttons. Rope rope twist edge. Within a raised circular border on a smooth background is a post-1901 crown above a fouled anchor where the rope goes over the right-hand stock, then under the shank to the left and then over the shank to the right and trails under the right-hand fluke. Crossed underneath the anchor are two branches of leaves which go two thirds the way up on both the left and right-hand sides so the tips are level to the mid-point of the crown. Flag officer.
