Button worn on the uniform of the shipping company William Sloan and Company. Gilt brass domed button with a rope twist outer border and raised inner border. A blue pennant (indicated by horizontal shading) bearing the letters WS & Co appears with laurel below and the words WILLIAM SLOAN & Co above the flag. All on lined ground.
On the reverse of the button the maker is inscribed - PAISLEY’S GLASGOW
