Button, Royal Naval uniform: pattern 1825
Four flat buttons. Smooth edge. Within a smooth circular border on a lined background is a wreath which goes two thirds of the way up the button on both sides. At the top is a pre-1901 crown and below the crown are the initials R N. Worn when on half pay.
