The slightly curved, flat-backed steel blade has a double-edged spear point. The blade is engraved with a proof mark, scroll decoration, a crown over a foul anchor motif and a crown over the Royal arms motif. The black leather scabbard has two gilt lockets with rings and chape, all of which are ornamented with fluted threads and scrolls.
