Dirk
Straight-bladed dirk, the hilt of the dirk consists of a gilt shell decorated with a design of leaves surrounded by a snake and a border of pearls on the lower side. The smooth ivory grip is decorated with turned rings. The steel blade is of a rectangular cross-section, tapering from the shoulder to the point. The blade appears to have formerly been gilded. The black leather scabbard has a gilt locket with a ring, and a chape. The obverse of the locket is engraved with a motif of the sun. The chape is engraved with leaves.
