Cutlass
Cutlass, the hilt of the cutlass consists of a black steel, half-basket guard with turned edges. The cast iron grip has been moulded. The flat steel blade is straight with a double-edged spear point. The obverse of the blade is engraved with an arrow above the letters 'WD', the letter 'X', and a crown motif with the number '12' above and the letter 'E' below. The reverse of the blade is engraved with the number '92', a crown motif which is repeated twice, the number '12' with the letter 'E' below.
