Cutlass
Cutlass, the hilt of the cutlass consists of black steel half-basket guard with turned edges, and a moulded cast iron grip. The steel blade is flat and straight, with a double-edged spear point. The obverse of the blade is engraved with an arrow and the letters 'WD' below, the letter 'X', crown motif, and the number '12' and the letter 'E' below. The reverse of the blade is engraved with a crown motif which is repeated twice, the number '12' and the letter 'E' below it, and the number '90'.
