Liquid compass

Bowl-Grey painted brass, filler plug at side, fitted with a diaphragm base. Inside of bowl painted black with a single black lubber line carried on a white plastic bracket secured to top and base of bowl.
Card-Dia.4.3" (11cm) White plastic ring with black markings, graduated to 360 degs. Mounted on a black metal frame having two tubular bars in form of cross which carries the pivot cup at centre.
Needle-Two flat needles 3.55" (9cm) long attached to metal framework mounted below card.
