Bowl: Dia 12.6" (32.0 cm), Height 14.75" (37.5 cm). Grey painted aluminium, glazed at top (broken), four glazed apertures in side of casing, and hinged double doors. Inside of bowl painted white with a glass disc at half height of bowl (broken), two lubber lines of wire carried on two brackets are attached top and bottom. Two pivots mounted on a sliding frame are attached to one side, the pivots are moved by a knob on the outside of the casing by gearing. Mounted in a grey painted alloy gimbal ring 15.0" (38.0 cm) and attached to a heavy grey painted alloy 'U' bracket with bulkhead mounting.
