Heeling Error Instrument

This is a small plastic box with a clear glass top. The needle is encased in a white plastic tube which enables the graduations to be clearly seen. A mark across the end of this tube is reflected in a prism so that it is viewed from above. The knife edge rests in agate Vs. A needle lifter and spirit level are included.
