Bowl: Black painted brass, filler plug at side, expansion chamber at base. Inside of bowl painted black. A fore-and-aft line is engraved across the slightly domed verge glass. The verge ring is fitted with a rotating setting ring which is graduated to 360 degrees.
Card: Diameter 3.1" (8.0 cm) Black card with a single large white painted pointer, attached to a high domed, white painted float at centre.
Needle: Unsighted.
Pivot: Unsighted.
