Deck watch in stainless steel open-face case, in a wooden deck box. Three-quarter plate movement, signed and numbered ‘1014354’, with lever escapement and compensation balance.
The watch has a white enamel dial, numbered and marked with a broad arrow, with arabic numerals and steel spade and poker hands, and a centre-seconds indication with a steel hand. It is contained in a stainless steel open-face case, with a screw-down back numbered ‘1014354’ and marked ‘SIDEREAL / H.S. ^ 3’. The watch is housed in a wooden deck box.
The Admiralty record card for this watch has not survived, though other deck watches with serial numbers either side of this example were purchased in 1944.
