Liquid compass card
Card: A mica band 1.5" wide attached to the float by screws. The card is white with black markings graduated to quarter points and 0 - 360 in degrees. There is also an anti-clockwise degree scale used for taking bearings, it is displaced by 180 degrees.
Needle: Four flat bar needles in two pairs, soldered to the bottom of the domed float. Dims. 2 x 5.5" (14 cm) x 0.6" (1.6 cm), 2 x 3.6" (9.2 cm) x 0.6" (1.6 cm)
Pivot: The pivot is incorporated into the domed float. There is a tube protuding from the top of the dome.
O.A. height 2.75" (7 cm)
