Liquid compass

The card is mounted on a plastic base plate, diameter 6.75". This base plate has four upright lubber lines of white plastic.

Card: The card is a mica band 0.75" wide held to a plastic dome float by a metal framework. The card is white with black markings graduated to four points and 0 - 360 in degrees.

Needle: The two flat bar needles are slung beneath the card and float. Dimensions 4.4" (11.2 cm) x 0.5" (1.3 cm)

Pivot: The pivot stem is attached to the base plate and the globular pivot cap fits into the float which houses the inverted pivot spike. The card cannot come off the pivot.
