Pocket watch movement
Pocket watch movement with dial, hands and glass back cover. It has a profusely engraved going-barrel movement, which is signed, with duplex escapement and compensation balance. The watch has a white enamel dial with Roman numerals and centre-seconds. The hands are missing except for a fragment of the seconds hand. Bovet, who established a business in Fleurier, Switzerland, in the early nineteenth century, manufactured watches of this sort for export to China.
