Pocket chronometer in a silver hunter case. It has a three-quarter plate movement with keyless winding, numbered and marked ‘Chronometre’, with detent escapement and compensation balance.

The chronometer has a white enamel dial with Roman numerals and gold hands, with a sunken subsidiary seconds dial below centre with a gold hand. It is contained in a silver hunter case, with Swiss assay marks, and numbered. The dome is marked ‘CHRONOMETRE No 224’ and the movement protected by a glazed snap-on cuvette.
