Pocket chronometer movement with dial and hands. It has a three-quarter plate fusee movement signed and numbered, with a spring-detent escapement (the detent is missing) and compensation balance with free-sprung helical balance spring. The watch has a white enamel dial, signed and numbered, with Roman numerals, spade and poker hands (minute hand is missing) and subsidiary seconds dial below centre. The case was scrapped prior to purchase by the donor, but marks were recorded. It was hallmarked for London 1829.
