Pocket watch movement with cap, dial and two hands. Full-plate fusee movement, signed and numbered, with cap signed ‘YATES PATENTEE’, with lever escapement and compensation balance beating half-seconds. The balance cock foot is marked ‘PATENT’.
The movement has a white enamel dial, signed ‘YATES PATENTEE’, with Roman numerals and steel spade and poker hands, and a subsidiary seconds dial below centre, with its hand missing.
