Liquid compass

Card: A mica band 1.75" (4.5 cm) wide attached to the needles by a wire framework. The card is white with black markings graduated to quarter points and quadrantally in degrees.

Needle: The six needles, in three pairs, are each held in metal tubes and the tubes to the metal framework. Lengths 3.25", 5" & 5.6" (8.3 cm, 12.7 cm & 14.2 cm)

Pivot: The pivot is incorporaed into the domed float and the jewel can be removed by a screw on the top of the dome.
