Pocket watch

Pocket watch in a hallmarked silver pair case. It has a full-plate capped fusee movement, marked 'Improved Patent', with a five tooth lever escapement as patented by Sam.Smith, Coventry (patent 3620, 9th December, 1812) and a seconds-beating plain gold balance. The watch has a cream enamel dial with Roman numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial, and spade and poker hands. Stop-action with lever.
