Pocket watch movement with dial and rim-cap. It has a three-quarter plate fusee movement, signed and numbered, lever escapement, plain balance and regulator. The movement is inscribed, 'Ja-s McCabe / Royal Exchange, London / 06042'. The watch has a white enamel dial, signed and numbered, with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial below centre. The hands are missing. Sprung, hinged rim cap.
