Pocket watch in gold pair case. It has a full-plate fusee movement, signed and numbered, with a lever escapement and brass balance.

The watch has a white enamel dial, signed and numbered, with Roman numerals and gold spade and poker hands, and a subsidiary seconds dial below centre with a steel hand. It is contained in an 18-carat gold pair case. Both cases are hallmarked for London, 1830, with the inner case numbered and the outer case containing a Barraud’s watch paper advertising their premises at 85 Cornhill, London.
