Liquid compass
Card-A mica band 1" wide attached to the needles by a metal framework. The card is white with black markings graduated to 0-360 in degrees, the markings by normal and reverse.
Needle-The six needles, in 3 pairs are held in a metal framework and to the base of the float, each needle is in a metal tube. Lengths 2.4", 2.8" & 3.2" (6.2cm, 7.3cm & 7.9cm)
Pivot-The pivot is incorporated into the dome float and the jewel can be removed by a screw at the top of the dome.
