'Neptune' (1832)
Scale: 1:48. Plan showing the inboard profile illustrating the diagonal bracing for 'Neptune' (1832), a 120-gun, First Rate, three-decker, as fitted at Portsmouth Dockyard. The alterations in pencil for a funnel and the foremast being moved aft relate to her conversion to a screw battleship between 1858-59.
The date on the plan is wrong. It should read 1833 not 1832 as John Peake was not Master Shipwright until October 1832. This is confirmed by the dates of the other plans for 'Neptune'.
Signed by John Peake [Master Shipwright, Portsmouth, 1832-1835].
