Card-Paper, black with white markings, graduated to 32 points. Has metal rim to card which is graduated quadrantally in degrees. Rim is held rigid by needle. Decorated East point.
Needle-Flat edge bar type tapered finishing with flat end which is screwed to metal rim of card. Hole at centre to accommodate pivot cap, length 5" (12.7cm). Has one moveable counter -balance weight.
Pivot- Cone-shaped brass pivot cap with large jewel at top.
