Compass card

Card-Mica covered with paper, black with white markings, graduated to 32 points. Has decorated E point. Has four blobs of sealing wax for balancing.
Needle- Single flat bar type 5.5" long, 0.4" wide, with expanded centre to accommodate pivot cap. Needle screwed to card. A "Dolland" compass label is stuck over the expanded centre of needle.
Pivot- Cone-shaped brass pivot cap with jewel at top, screwed through centre of card.
