Card- Mica covered with paper. White with black and white markings, graduated to 1/4 points graduated quadrantally in degrees.
Needle- Two edge bar needles 7.5" length of rolled and hammered clock spring steel, arranged in lozenge form with their ends riveted together.
Pivot-Inverted type, mounted in a metal dome secured to centre of card.
