Signed by John Nolloth [Master Shipwright, Portsmouth Dockyard, 1823-1835].
NMM, Progress Book, volume 6, folio 92, states that 'Ganges' arrived at Portsmouth Dockyard on 26 August 1829 and was docked on 24 September 1829 to have her copper replaced. She was undocked on 13 November 1829 and sailed on 18 Feburary 1831 having had defects rectified and having been fitted as a Guardship.
