Compass card

Card-Mica covered with paper, blue with black and blue markings, graduated to 1/4 points and quadrantally in degrees.
Needle- Two light bar edge needles, 5" long and 0.4"deep, 3" apart. Mounted on two light bars secured to ends of needles and screwed to the card. Two additional short bars are attached to outer centre of needles and screwed to card. Two short brass bars carrying sliding weights are attached to the mounting bars.
Pivot- Small cone-shaped brass pivot cap with jewel at top, screwed through centre of framework of four crossed struts which are attached to the two needles.
