'Boscawen' (1844)
Scale: 1:48. An Office Copy plan showing the roundhouse, with alterations, for 'Boscawen' (1844), a 70-gun Third Rate, two-decker, building at Woolwich Dockyard. Plan ZAZ0941 shows the roundhouse after these alterations have been made.
NMM, Progress Book, volume 6, folio 195, states that 'Boscawen' (1844) was being built at Woolwich Dockyard between January 1826 and her launch on 3 April 1844. She was then moved to Sheerness Dockyard, arriving on 4 April 1844 to be fitted for ordinary, which was completed on 26 September 1848.
