Scale: 1:48. Plan showing the midship section for 'Invincible' (1808), a 74-gun Third Rate, two-decker. The plan illustrates the method of securing the beams to the sides in lieu of wooden knees as proposed by Henry Peake. An Admiralty Order dated 8 June 1811 states that the 'Chatham' (1812), also building at Woolwich Dockyard, is also to conform to this plan but with certain alterations.
