Elephant (1786)
Scale: 1:48. Plan showing the body plan, stern board outline, sheer lines with inboard detail, and longitudinal half-breadth for Elephant (1786), a 74-gun Third Rate, two-decker, as built at Bursledon by Mr George Parsons. The date on this plan is wrong, and is likely to be 1786 or 1787, as it shows the ship after her fitting. However, ZAZ1070 may be a copy of this plan, although the date and place of draughting has been omitted.
Reverse: Scale: 1:96. Plan showing the quarterdeck & forecastle, upper deck gun deck (lower deck), and orlop deck for Elephant (1786), a 74-gun Third Rate, two-decker.
