Dry compass

A dished paper card attached by thread to an aluminium vertical band. The card is white with black and red markings graduated to quarter points, quadrantally in degrees and 0 - 360 degrees (in red).
Silk threads run from the rim to an aluminium boss at the centre. These threads also hold in palce a tissue paper like covering. The needles, 6 in 3 pairs, are suspended by silk threads.

Dims of needles 3.5", 3.0" & 2.75" (8.9, 7.6 & 7.0 cm)
