Liquid compass card
Card: The mica card is attached to the pivot by a boss and four diameters. The card is white with black markings graduated to quarter points and quadrantally in degrees.
Needle: The needles, six in all, one of clock spring steel and in two sets of three. The three needles are sandwiched between strips of cork, for buoyancy, and the whole is encased in a copper box. There are two of these boxes. The boxes are attached to the metal diameters.
Dims 5" x 1" x 0.75" (12.8 cm x 2.5 cm x 2 cm)
