Compass card
Card for a liquid compass.
Card: A mica card attached to the float by radial arms. The card is white with black markings graduated in half points and quadrantally in degrees.
Needle: The two edge bar needles are enveloped in brass sheaths. They are attched to the radial arms. Dims 5" x 1" (12.7 cm x 2.6 cm)
Pivot: The bell shaped jewelled pivot is screwed into the domed float. There is a pivot spike attached to the card.
O.A. height 2.25" (5.7 cm)
