Compass card
Card for a liquid compass.
Card: The card is mica attached to the float by a wire framework. The card is white with black markings graduated to quarter points and quadrantally in degrees. The quadrantal markings are black and red, the black being inverted for use with a prism.
Needle: The two needles are enclosed in tubes and attached to the float. Lenght 4" (10.2 cm)
Pivot: The pivot is incorporated into the domed float and the jewel can be removed by a screw at the top of the dome.
