Compass card

Card for a liquid compass.
An overhead compass card.

Card: A mica card attached to the float by a metal framework. The card is white with black markings graduated to quarter points.

Needle: The two needles are each enclosed in metal tubes and attached to the sides of the float.
Length 9" (22.8 cm)

Pivot: The pivot is incorporated into the domed float and the jewel can be replaced by means of a screw on the top of the dome.
