Shannon (1806); Leonidas (1807); Surprise (1812); Briton (1812); Lacedemonian (1812); Tenedos (1812); Lively (1813); Arethusa (1817); Thetis (1817); Venus (1820)
Scale: 1:48. Plan showing the orlop deck with fore & aft platforms. The plan is very similar in style to ZAZ1985, which was for the second batch of Leda (1800) class Frigates, namely Shannon (1806), Leonidas (1807), Surprise (1812), Briton (1812), Lacedemonian (1812), Tenedos (1812), and Lively (1813). The alterations sent in 1816 and 1818 were for Arethusa (1817), Thetis (1817), and Venus (1820), all 38-gun (later 46-gun) Fifth Rate Frigates.
The plan was later sent to Devonport Dockyard, signed by Alexander Moore [Master Shipwright] and dated 20 January 1875. This may relate to when Arethusa was a coal depot hulk at Devonport Dockyard under the name of 'Bacchus' (renamed 1844).
