Melampus (1820)

Scale: 1:48. Plan showing part plans, and the internal elevation of the bulwarks and barriades along the quarterdeck, waist, and forecastle, on Melampus (1820), a 42-gun Fifth Rate, Frigate. The plan illustrates the fittings such as the belaying points, shot racks, tack cleats, and ensign staff and awning stantions.

Melampus had been fitted at Devonport Dockyard in 1845, and by 1847 was on the East Indies Station.
