Melampus (1820)
Scale: 1:24. Plan showing profiles and plans of the stern quarter illustrating the fixing of the stools, watercloset, and the unhinging of the rudder for Melampus (1820), a 42-gun Fifth Rate, Frigate. The ship was modified to incorporate Sepping's ciruclar stern during her build.
NMM, Progress Book, volume 6, folio 384, states that 'Melampus' was begun in August 1817 at Pembroke Dockyard and launched on 10 August 1820. From there she was sent to Plymouth Dockyard and fitted for Ordinary.
