Colour, Royal Marines (Woolwich Division)
Colours of the Royal Marines, Woolwich Division presented to Greenwich Hospital by William IV. Almost completely disintigrated. Originally a Union Flag. Tassel attached. Formerly nailed to staff, now removed. Backed with cord netting. Fragments only remaining. This is one of the colours formerly hung high in the Vestibule of the Painted Hall of Greenwich Hospital, following its presentation, on the accompanying staff.
