Colours of the Royal Marines, Woolwich Division presented to Greenwich Hospital by William IV. Almost completely disintigrated. Union Flag in the canton. Backed with cord netting. Formerly nailed to staff, now removed. Toggle for tassel attached. Fragments only remaining. This is one of the colours formerly hung high in the Vestibule of the Painted Hall of Greenwich Hospital, following its presentation, on the accompanying staff.
