Calliope (1837)
Scale 1:96. Plan showing the body plan, sheer lines with some inboard detail, longitudinal half breadth for building Calliope (1837), 28-gun, Sixth Rate Sloop. It seems that this plan was dispatched from Sheerness Dockyard to Lord Hanniker MP in 1834. Annotation on reverse: " The Right Honerable Lord Hanniker MP &c & c. Stoneham, Suffolk." The reverse is stamped in red ink twice, they read:1. Sheerness Dec 8 1834, 2. H Paid 9 Dec 9 1834)
Lord Hanniker may be Captain the Honourable Major Jacob Kenniker.
