Unidentified 24-gun Sixth rate (possibly Centaur (1746))
Scale: 1:48. Plan showing the body plan, sheer lines with some inboard detail, and longitudinal half-breadth for a 24-gun Sixth Rate, possibly a modified version of the 1741 Establishment proposed by Sir Jacob Acworth. This plan has been identified in the past for Centaur (1746) as the dimensions match those for her when built by Hugh Blaydes at Hull. This plan has differences to ZAZ3598, which it may precede chronologically - specifically the position of the both decks of sweeps and the curves on the body plan. Equally, ZAZ3599, which is for Centaur (1746) and Deal Castle (1746) still includes the lower deck gunports and a greater number of sweep ports on both the lower and upper decks and signed by Joshua Allin, Surveyor of the Navy.
