Orestes (captured 1781)
Scale: 1:48. Plan showing the body plan, sheer lines with inboard detail, and longitudinal half-breadth for Orestes (captured 1781), a captured Dutch privateer fitted as an 18-gun Brig Sloop and as repaired at Portsmouth Dockyard in July 1789. The green lines indicate the layout of the ship before the repairs were undertaken. Note that the capstan is at a different angle, and the deadeyes and channels have been raised and reconfigured when compared to the fitted plan from 1782.
