Liquid compass - aircraft
Bowl-Black painted alloy, filler plug at top, expansion chamber ar base, corrector magnet carrier at top, electrical fittings at fore side. Inside of bowl black with a luminous wire lubber line mounted across diameter of flat circular verge glass.
Card-Dia. 4" (10.2cm) Black plastic vertical ring with white luminous markings on outer surface, graduated to 360 degs. Attached by four metal struts to black painted float at centre.
Nedle-Two needles of circular section 1.5" (3.8cm) long, mounted on wire framework below float.
Pivot Unsighted but black stem can be seen attached to base of bowl.
