Azimuth sight
Consists of a brass bar with a hole at the centre, for mounting on spigot at the centre of a compass verge glass. At either end there is a fixed sight vane 3.75" (9.5 cm) high, one sight vane is an open frame with thread and the other carries a slit. At the top of each sight vane are mounted two further vanes, both open frame with threads, which are joined together at the top.
