Magnet holder - aircraft?
Magnet holder, compass corrector.
Consists of a wooden block with a metal mounting plate at base. It has nine holes fore-and-aft and nine holes athwartships fitted with metal cover plates, into which corrector magnets can be inserted. There is provision for seven vertical magnets which can be inserted in a sliding wooden block. One side of the block carries a brass attachment with worm gear that can raise or lower a brass tube which can carry a corrector magnet.
