Epreuve (captured 1760)
Scale: 1:48. Plan showing the body plan with stern board outline, sheer lines with inboard detail and longitudinal half-breadth for Epreuve (captured 1760), a captured French corvette. The plan includes alterations made to fit her as a 16-gun Ship Sloop at Plymouth.
NMM, Progress Book, volume 2, folio 650, states that the 'Epreuve' was surveyed in dock on 29 March 1761 at Plymouth Dockyard and reported to be fit for the service. She was docked on 25 April 1761, launched again on 2 May, only to be re-docked on 12 June for the day, prior to sailing on 17 June fitted for sea.
