Scale: 1:12. Plan showing a comparative elevation and gunport outline illustrating the method of fixing the carronades on board the Cruizer (1797) and Scorpion (1803), both 18-gun Brig Sloops. Scorpion was being fitted out at Sheerness after being launched at Dover on 17 October 1803.

Annotation top right: 'Dec 1803. The Carronades for the Scorpion was mounted too high and lower'd at Sheerness to the same height as those of the Cruizer - 32 pounders'.
